70 Free or Almost Free Activities for Spring Break!

  1. Visit a new park
  2. San Francisco Zoo
  3. Make your own ice cream
  4. Try a new recipe
  5. Make your own sidewalk chalk.  Then…
  6. Use sidewalk chalk to play games like hopscotch and tic-tac-toe
  7. Visit the library (check the Macaroni Kid calendar for all the great things going on)
  8. Create a spring scavenger hunt
  9. Visit a Farmers’ Market – there are NINE in the area!
  10. Go on a hike
  11. Watch Krispy Kreme donuts being made
  12. Go Geocaching
  13. Have a family game night
  14. Let the kids take photos and turn them in to a movie
  15. Backwards Day (dinner for breakfast, breakfast for dinner)
  16. Have a Silly String fight
  17. Play Hide & Seek
  18. Make fruit smoothies for you and the kids
  19. Make your own finger paint
  20. Plant a gutter garden
  21. Go for a bike ride
